There is also a new ramen place in the same downtown area called Shalala. My husband prefers Ryowa but I personally think it's a toss up between Maru Ichi and Shalala. I prefer the noodles and broth of Maru Ichi's tonkotsu ramen while Shalala has a nice bold spicy miso ramen which I liked. I'd like to get your opinion on which one you like better :) JadedOnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10914739051719987254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5559927128534150588.post-28573939313512425132009-09-21T10:43:49.992-04:002009-09-21T10:43:49.992-04:00Hi Sarah. They usually make solo or pair customer seat there, while group or family seat in the corner (near wall)

I had several ramen place in L.A. this by far the best deal you can get, for about 10bucks you get kudo noodle or choose miso, with few sushi (with real crab meat) very tasy fry dumbing. They had jar of free kimchi but is very spicy. I would not suggest you try kudos unless you don't mind very saldy flavor, those ain't msg, noodle texture is very good.

If you in san jose or bay area, this is good ramen place to visit.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5559927128534150588.post-507818537937498642009-03-16T15:11:00.000-04:002009-03-16T15:11:00.000-04:00Oil spill of garlic is right!
