Ramen walk...

Day 800:

With the new Ramen Walker Magazine out, research has been easy. Just open it up, find a shop close by that I've never been to, and I'm off. Art Masashiya (アートマサシヤ) has been open for about a year now, but since they only open for lunch it hasn't really been on my radar.

And if you don't go early, everything will be sold out. On this day a poor young lady bought a ticket, sat down, and then was told to leave cuz they ran out of soup.

When I arrived they were already out of eggs so instead of ordering the popular Tokusei I ordered the Munekuchi Chashumen (旨口チャーシューメン).

I couldn't read the entire sign, but supposedly this bowl is filled with nutrients and minerals that are good for you. It's a very light shoyu that is easy on the taste buds. It's not bad, but it's not great either. Soothing would probably be the nicest word.

Anyway, I pondered getting another bowl near Shinsen station, but ultimately decided against it.

So I could get GCS'd.

The mystery of T1...

After two bites, this customer fell asleep for 30 min, woke up and took two more bites then fell asleep for 20 more min. When I finally woke him to tell him we were closing, he ended up finishing his bowl before leaving. Now that's love!
