Looks like this is playing in most of the trains in Japan. How cool is that?! Check it out if you can!

Take your classroom to work day...
Preview here...
This morning from 10am eastern time I will take part in a virtual "take our daughters and sons to work day" presented by Forbes magazine and Google. I'm not exactly sure what to expect but I will be part of a Google Hangout that will be broadcast live to a classroom full of 7th and 8th graders. Plus it will be the public's first inside look at my new ramen shop in Downtown called Ramen.Co. If you want to follow along, feel free to join the hangout to see how nervous I can get.

March 2014 recap...
March was definitely madness. And I'm very, very sorry that I couldn't keep my new year's resolution. With not one, but TWO brick and mortar projects in the works, I'm hoping you'll forgive me. So please let this cheesy slideshow recapping all the pictures I took in March suffice for now and I'll give you some more details soon.

Ramen Burger in Huntington Beach!!...
HB baby!!! Hometown here we come! If you haven't heard by now, my Ramen Burger will be at the Huntington Beach Sister City Cultural Festival tomorrow from 11am to 4pm. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it out this time but the west coast family will be holding it down. So get out and go say hi to my mom for me!!

Tahara-san...
Tahara-san, the master knife-sharpener from Sakai City, was in New York for the Restaurant Show and today he was holding a knife-sharpening demonstration at Korin.
After exchanging emails and keeping in touch for almost a year now, I wasn't going to miss this for anything.
This man is an honest Japanese hero.
Can't wait to see him again in a few days.
