Day 582:
It was prep Wednesday again and during our lunch break Fujimatsu-san and I found ourselves AGAIN at Vinawalk's little ramen street. This time we chose Kosumo (古寿茂 海老名店) and their tori-paitan ramen. Old, overgrown, longevity...
Fujimatsu-san went with the tori-paitan miso.
And I went with the tori-paitan shoyu with extra chashu and an egg. I would like to say good things, but unfortunately I will remain silent. (Skip it!) When in Ebina, there's really only one place to go.
After work I stopped by Bassanova AGAIN...
They just started a Hiyashi Tom Yum, but I only had eyes for the green.
Fortunately, for those that are curious, this is the Hiyashi Tom Yum. Thanks momi!
It's actually quite good. I recommend you give it a try!

Chicken rush...
Day 568:
I don't know about these, but my shoulder is feeling a whole lot better than it used to.
Being that Wednesday's are now our biggest shikomi (prep) days (since the shop is closed), Fujimatsu-san and I decided to take a break and hit up a nearby ramen shop. Leaving the choice up to him, we wound up at Seisyomaru in ViNAWALK. Perhaps you remember my visit to the honten in Kyodo.
Anyway, Fujimatsu-san got the tsukemen (what they are known for).
And I once again went with the chuukasoba. Honestly, it tasted better than the honten.
BUT, the onions diluted the soup and towards the end I couldn't taste a thing. I tried adding more pepper but that didn't work either.
SiO with chicken!
Hi pops!
