I had to step away and get me some ramen.
This was definitely one of the better bowls I've had in awhile.
Speaking of bowls, Neil's limited edition spaghetti featuring Asia Dog sausage was a must eat even though I was full.
And my bro was in town so we went to suck on some octopus.
Things are somewhat back to normal I think.
いらっしゃいませ!

Mashups...
What would a breakfast ramen burger look like? Maybe this?
So I had this idea. A vision, so to say, that vendors from Smorgasburg could get together to combine their foods and create something new. Behold the Adobo Shack Ramen Burger.
And the Lonestar Empire Ramen Burger.
Okay, this could start to get out of hand. LOL.

Ramen Burger™ Debut...
Day 1369:
Good morning, America!!!
The day has finally come.
I can't believe how fast news can travel. In just two days, the Ramen Burger™ went from dream to internet superstar before I even sold a single one.
And then we were asked to be on Good Morning America. Wow!
But as exciting as all this was and is, we still had Smorgasburg to do.
And before we could barely say irasshaimase, the line already looked like this.
It was truly amazing. And with an initial limit of 100 Ramen Burgers™, which became 150 after we stayed up all night prepping more, Mr. Pink ended up being the last lucky one.
Thank you all for braving the rain and standing in the long a** line for my creation. For those that had a chance to try it, I hope it was worth it. And for those that got turned away, I apologize profusely.
We learned a lot today and IF we do get to do this again someday we'll be better prepared.
A BIG thanks to my awesome team. Hey Kris I can't see your eyes!
Stay tuned for more announcements, more flavors, more events, more t-shirts, and more fun. Once again, thank you for all the great buzz.
Thank you Sun Noodle! Thank you Burger Maker! Thank you PleatPak! Thank you Burger Conquest!
Ramen Dreams forever!!!

Smorgasburg Week 1 - Shoyu Ramen Burger™...
This Saturday, August 3rd, the Shoyu Ramen Burger™ will make its debut at Smorgasburg in Willamsburg, Brooklyn. Limited to only 100 Ramen Burgers™, this fresh USDA Prime Burger Maker patty glazed with a secret shoyu sauce and sandwiched between scallions, arugula, and two craftily formed buns made from Sun Noodle's freshly cut ramen noodles won't last long. Trust me, you will want to try this. So please, if you are in the neighborhood or have nothing to do on Saturday...IRASSHAIMASE!!
And don't forget to pick up a t-shirt!! Designed by yours truly! haha.
And just as a quick tutorial, your Ramen Burger™ will come wrapped in this amazing technology called PleatPak.
Once you open it, just tear out the white sheet and begin chlurping! (chomp+slurp=get it?)
The mess stays in the PleatPak and not on your hands. And feel free to drink the leftover soup!!
A big thanks to everyone involved that made this happen. See you on Saturday!!

Oyster roasting...
Day 1083:
The last day of the FoodFilmFest is here. And also, the last day for ramen in New York.
Sapporo Ramen in Midtown recently revamped their menu and my friends over at Yamachan asked me to check it out.
After introducing myself to the manager, he explained to us their menu. Thanks Jyun-san!
Although Miso Ramen is the most popular, Jyun-san recommended the Shio Ramen.
Light and refreshing with a comfortable blend of salt, it was a simple shio.
And then I ordered the Miso Ramen.
Too sweet for my tastes, but the noodles were good.
But try the Shio Ramen if you go. You might like it.
Low Country Oyster Roast!!!
Enjoy!
SkeeterNYC from foodcurated.com!!!
Tati Nguyen!!!
And Larry.
Akiko from The Gohan Society!!!
M Shanghai String Band!!!
Harry Hawk!!!
NYFD!!!
Thank you FoodFilmFest staff!!!!!
Jason Lam!!!
I'm gonna miss everyone.
But hopefully I'll get to come back soon.
And one last bowl at Ramen Yebisu in Williamsburg before I leave.
Miso Ramen.
Shoyu Ramen.
Yebisu Ramen.
They all shared the same noodle. Perhaps in time this will change.
I really liked their Miso Ramen, but try and guess which bowl this was...
Thank you Brooklyn! Thank you Manhattan! Thank you FoodFilmFest! Thank you New York!!! I'll remember this trip forever!
