This is a lame post. Sorry I'm just trying to catch up.
I was craving tacos (not the easiest craving to satisfy in Tokyo). After some research, we went to a place that supposedly had tacos. But all they had were quesadillas.
And a chili cheese burger that was way too sweet. I have since let that craving go.

Try Frijoles - its a Chipotle clone. http://www.frijoles.jp/top.html
ReplyDeleteI understand Okinawa is the place to satify a taco craving.
ReplyDeleteI've been following your blog since the start of this year -- fascinating! Had to write re: your search for tacos because I hear you. Try Nakameguro - Baja Tacos - not bad at all. Much better than Frijoles and more laid back.

I've argued to my wife that we should open a taco shop in Gunma (her home). There was only one place when I was there, and it was only so-so.
ReplyDeleteJapan desperately needs good tacos.
Everyone desparately needs tacos. They are as essential to life as ramen.
ReplyDeleteAgree with Baja Tacos, only place where salsa does not taste like curry.

Another but more pricey alternative is Junkadelic, which also satisfies the cravings...where is a Taco Bell when you need one!
