I'm just a ramen addict that can slurp 24-7. I created this blog to promote ramen eating. I hate seeing all the good ramen shops disappear when they don't deserve to. Let's try to keep them all in business. GO RAMEN!
I stumbled upon your blog while reseaching the new Daikokuya in Hacienda Heights. I'm facinated by your new adventure in Japan. I look forward to your future posts. I hope you some day return to SoCal with your newly aquired ramen wisom to enrich our broth.
It was good to meet you and it would be good to go slurp sometime. If you are ever over in the Sangenjaya area let me know and I will take you to some of the good shops around here.
Your posts really do evoke a strong pang of nostalgia for Kansai. I will return here for ramen recommendations in preparation for the next time I visit Kansai.
Keizo; it's been a while since I read your blog. I got to Japan again at the end of March | start of April. Didn't get to Bassanova (because you don't open for lunch on Saturday); I wound up at Ivan Ramen instead. It was good. But I wonder if I put in the wrong condiments. Oh well. You need to review some of these other replies in your blog. Someone has begun posting Japanese-language spam messages on them. I don't know when will be my next visit to Japan. But it won't be any later than December 2011. You may have noticed I'm following you on Twitter. I Tweet about everything there.
How did captcha give me a verification word of "storksm"? Does it know about some of my other interests? 3=O
Really like your blog, very down to earth. Sadly, other big ramen blogs in Tokyo seem to have turned their authors into big headed peeps who think they are the sons of god.Who'd have known? Lol. I won't give names but, and won't comment further, only to say that I am glad to see that you did not catch the same laughable disease ;p
