Day 781:
Afterleaving slurping a GCS for Santa, it was time to meet my date for xmas eve.

Thanks again for the lovely dinner!
Then it was off to Kuru Kuru to say hello and Merry Xmas. Thanks for the cookies!!!

An ideal day...
Day 735:
Wake up.
Eat a bowl of ramen.
Create new tickets for our ticket machine.
Grab a light snack.
Order some more.
Have drinks at the night picnic with strangers that soon become friends.
Approach a group of guys practicing with jumping stilts.
And realize that it may not be the best thing to try while intoxicated. Nevertheless, I want my own pair!
Then finish the night off...how else?
With a bowl of ramen, of course.
Now that was an ideal day!

Ramen and sushi...
Day 461:
I once wrote this long ago: "Based on my experience, restaurants that offer both sushi and ramen are usually non-Japanese owned . . . and never very good at either." Wouldn't it be great if there was a legit sushi AND ramen shop in the US? Anyway, time for some ramen and sushi. And oh yeah, some Chinese food too.
Adding burnt garlic oil to anything makes it taste better.
Three of my favorite things...
Peppered pork.
プリプリ。
Mabo spice!
Sushi! (かすが野)
Hirame! My all time favorite sushi.
Uni!
Anago!
Akagai!
Botan ebi!
Namagaki!
Maguro! Chutoro (left), Akami (right).
Karaoke time!
