Whole ramen...
Day 1227:
What is a trip to NYC without a visit to Ippudo.
I got a lot of heat for not including Ippudo NY on my recent top 5 list, but c'mon!...it's Ippudo!
Hey it's lisaj!!!
Today I ordered the Kogashi Miso Ramen.
It's the same kogashi miso from the Ippudo produced Gogyo, but like all the other ramen here...
It tasted a little weak compared to it's Japanese counterpart.
Anyway, off to Chinatown!

Whole Foods!
Yes, at the Whole Foods in the Lower East Side, ramen has taken over the food court.
Yuji Ramen that is.
For the next couple months Yuji will be using Whole Foods as his test kitchen serving up some unique creations like this Bacon and Egg Mazemen.
And a Daily Shoyu Ramen with today's being a dashi made from monkfish and lamb.
Unique ideas and creative visions, taking ramen to new levels.
Go Yuji!
