Day 27 - Eating ramen at the Tsukiji Fish Market...

With this being my last full day, you might have thought that I would go on some crazy last minute ramen eating tour of Tokyo. Well...I thought about it and decided not to. I'll be back someday so no need to rush things. Plus, I think I've had a pretty successful trip. So instead, it was just one bowl and the last chance for great sushi. Then it was off to celebrate my niece turning two...

I'm now at a loss for words. I don't want to leave but know that I must. Next stop...Narita airport. See you in LA!

  1. Wow that did feel fast! I really really envy you. Someone once told me about the many great non-seafood meals at Tsukiji that came about catering to the working fishermen. I heard there's good curry.

  2. Have a safe trip! Hope you don't get inconvenienced by any possible pig-flu related weirdness going on at the airports. Glad you had such a great time, and I'll have to try to meet up with you in Osaka next time you're out this way! :)

  3. Wow!! You went to Tsukiji, huh? That would be one of the best places to eat Ramen. You know, all the ingrediants must be so fresh that they make Ramen much more tasty!! Goddemn! I wanna eat Ramen!

  4. @Dennis: Yeah, there's a lot of good food stalls around Tsukiji. I just wish I could've tried them all.

@Dateline Osaka: No pig flu problems for my flight. Sorry we couldn't meet up in Osaka this time. That would have been so cool. Hopefully next time!

@Norman: Everywhere I went in Japan would be one of the best places to eat ramen. :P

  7. Hi Keizo,

That was awesome! :) Tsukiji looked great. It's unfortunate you couldn't take pics inside. How was the Sushi?

Your nieces looked ridiculously kawaii outdueling you at Karaoke! :P Thanks again for the great report on Japan and way to brighten up my day. :)
