Before I ever moved to Japan, I used to read Koitani-san's blog (boss.jiraigen.com) and see him and his staff have these awesome barbecues. And I often hoped that someday I would be part of them. Well I guess I don't have to hope any longer...
Cuz my wish has come true.

On my way home I stopped by the famed Kyoka (らーめん愉悦処 鏡花) in Tachikawa.
Great bowl, but a little overhyped.
Though I would have liked to try it 8 years ago.
Anyway, awesome day!
