Artisan noodles...

Day 1085:

If the hand makes the machine and the machine makes the noodles, is that still considered "artisan"? That was the thought that crossed my mind when I started to eat this del beef burrito for breakfast.

Finally! I get to try Tsujita LA!

Ajitama Tsukemen. Nice!

Although it's not exactly the same as Tsujita Japan, it's still darn good for LA. The noodles aren't Mikawaya, but Sun is beginning to close the gap.

It's just too bad it comes with lime and not kabosu.

Tonkotsu Ramen.

I could never say anything bad about Tanaka-san's ramen.

But I see things others may not see. And why oh why does Tsujita not serve ramen after three?!!

My man Jordan. Tell everyone I said what up yo!

Across the street in the old Kinchans space was a new ramen shop called Tatsu. But we didn't eat there cuz I needed to save room...

For this! BBQ!

And then, I got planked on.

Wonton Forest style...ahaha.

  1. Asians really cook good noodles. I agree with you on the term Artisan. Home made noodles really taste great. There was a time that I thought of moving to hong kong because of this. The street foods of that country really feels like heaven on Earth.

  2. To someone like me who always fancy eating and tasting all the available ramen in town, this is such a heaven sent suggestion. Though, I'm trying to cook one myself, original ramen is just so so so much better than the ones I'm cooking, I think it is because of the equipment and the way they cooked them.
