The making of men...

Day 32:

Noodles. I'm talking about making noodles. Yep, that's right. I learned how to use the noodle making machine and made fresh noodles today. Supposedly, it's the fastest anyone has ever been taught how to make noodles. I guess Ivan must really trust me. Thanks!

Okay, I know what you're looking for. Pictures, right? Well, the noodle-making process is a highly guarded secret that makes Ivan Ramen Ivan Ramen. So unfortunately I'm not at liberty to say or show you much about it. But I can share with you how cool the process is. Passing the dough through the machine as it rolls into specified widths and then watching how the noodles are cut as you gently twist it into balls of beautiful blond locks is extremely 楽しい (enjoyable). Oh how I wish you could experience that too.

Anyway, I went back to Kichijoji after work in the pouring rain to eat yakitori with a friend. That, on the other hand, was not such a pleasant experience.
