At least that's what I was told. Today was supposed to be my first day off since February 10th, but as luck would have it my plans to party all night long with friends had to be canceled. The big boss from Fukuoka was coming to town. But before I had to report to Bassanova in the evening, I had some time to eat this gomoku yakisoba, catch up on emails, and grab a few drinks with my friend Darin.
Then it was off to meet the big boss for dinner...and drinks. Lots of drinks...
It was a actually a strange night filled with fun, excitement, and drama that somehow ended in a park amidst the shouts of a couple fighting. Thank you Ukon No Chikara!
On a side note, I finally got my first paycheck from Bassanova yesterday for my first 2 weeks of working there. Whew, what a big relief! I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit worried on being able to pay last month's rent. I held off on buying any major appliances for my new apt because of this. But now it's all good. I'm not living this dream for the money, but it helps to know that I'll be able to continue it comfortably. Especially when two weeks of Bassanova salary more than doubles the monthly salary I was making before.
