The calm before the storm...

Day 211:

Okay, so there is no storm. But this dude really freaks me out.

I met my friend moca for lunch where she AGAIN took me to eat vegan food at Nagi Shokudo in Shibuya. She's not vegan, nor am I (obviously), but I'm always down for anything. I actually like vegan food...on occasion.

Afterwards, I was walking through Shibuya when I came across an old friend--Hayashi. It's been over a year since I was last here and although I was a bit full from the vegan food (who am I kidding?), I was somehow sucked in to try another bowl.

I'm not a huge fan of the heavy fish blend, but every now and then it seems to sooth my soul.

Hayashi is a great remedy for a post-vegan meal. Guaranteed! haha.

I never knew this until today, but Hayashi serves a shio ramen that is not on the menu. I only found out because I heard someone order it as I was leaving. It makes me want to go back and try it now. If you want to give it a try, just buy a ticket for the regular ramen and ask for shio when you hand in your ticket. If you end up trying it, let me know how it was!

  1. That looks like a tasty bowl.
I tried going there a few weeks ago but it was closed.
that shop seems to have really limited opening hours.
It makes me wonder how they can afford the rent around there...
seems like an upscale area in terms of rent.
