Day 252:
Honestly, I miss Tokyo. But it still feels good to be back. My best friend and I have a tradition to take each other out to Houston's on our birthdays. His was last month and I missed it, so today I had to make up for it. Houston's arguably has the best spinach dip in the land.
But I was only here for one thing: the hawaiian rib-eye!
Ohh yeah! I dream about this steak often.
The french dip is a classic too. Yo, happy belated bday bro!
As always, I can't seem to go a day without eating ramen. Mizuki in Irvine had opened up while I was in Japan and although my friends had warned me to stay away, I still wanted to try it.
So I went for dinner and ordered the shoyu ramen with an egg.
Okay so they were right. I should have stayed away.
I really have nothing good to say, so I will say nothing more.
Later tonight, I got to finally touch a basketball for the first time in nine months. Needless to say, it felt good. I was a bit rusty, but I still managed to hit my threes and hold my own.
It's good to be back.
sort of...
Hi Keizo,
ReplyDeleteOkaeri! :)
Mizuki: Oh noes! (~_~) My condolences. :) But you're so hardcore that you had to try it no matter what, ne? ;)
Glad to see you home.
