Day 249:
It's been almost nine months since I've been home. I actually wasn't expecting to get on the flight since it took so long to get it, but now that I got it I'm not sure how to feel. I can't wait to see my friends, but at the same time I feel guilty for taking a week off from Bassanova. Oh well, now it's time for some ramen. Not wanting to venture too far out, I stuck close to home and decided to hit up nearby Kusanbou to try their kara-miso ramen.
I kind of like Kusanbou. It's 普通に美味しい。
The gyoza is also decent for a lunch set under 900 yen. If I wasn't so obsessed with trying new ramen shops, I think I'd visit here more often.
Anyway, time to start packing!
Can you pick up some "bankaku ebisen" at the airport? The store is near McDonalds and across from a luggage shop. Get the bite size ones for Mom and Ruby. Thanks, Jeff
ReplyDeleteI have a business trip to Japan later this month. Will be stopping by to try that Green Curry ramen! Hopefully I'll get to meet you in person! Been reading this blog forever.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on going home. Come to SF and say hello. I will be in LA in 2 weeks. I can't wait for your recommendation. Have fun and you rock, Mr. Ramen man =)
