Prepping for a week at home...

Day 337:

I wanted to sleep for hours, but I only ended up sleeping four hours. I had too much to do and too much to do. Not to mention too much to do. Okay I'm really tired so just bare with me. haha. I still needed to go shopping for my friends and do my laundry before work. So while I waited for my clothes to dry, I slurped a bowl at Eifukucho Taishoken. There really is something about this ramen that makes you crave it every now and then. You kinda realize it about the 4th or 5th time trying it.

Anyway, I bought a couple take-out sets to share with some peeps back home. Could you be the lucky one?

At work, Boom was back from his mini trip to Hakone and he brought me an Owakudani Kuro-tamago that apparently adds 7 years to your life when eaten.

The shell looks all crazy cuz of the sulfuric onsens that it's boiled in, but the inside is just like any other egg. Boom, I owe you seven years of my life. Haha thanks!

My dad's side of the family came into Bassanova today too. Even though I've been in Japan for almost a year, they just found out that I was here yesterday. Oops. Uuuuu....I've been busy?

It's hard to believe I won't be able to eat at Bassanova for a week. A part of me doesn't want to leave, but I have a date with mom and a wonton forest wedding I need to attend!

Alright, I gotta go pack. See you in Cali!!

  6. from your Wiki link:
"You may eat up to two and a half for up to seventeen and a half years, but eating a whole third is said to be highly unadvised."

sounds like a challenge! you and Boom should get on it!
