Manmos (道玄坂マンモス) or Mammoth is a new tsukemen shop in Shibuya.
They have two types of noodles to choose from: Mochiri (もっちり) or Haiga (胚芽).
Lately with almost all tsukemen shops tasting the same, it's nice to see a place that puts more focus on the noodles.
I ordered the Mochiri 麺.
As was expected, they were chewy and mochi-mochi.
The soup was indeed similar to all those other tonkotsu-gyokai shops but I can see myself coming back here.
Boom got the Haiga 麺. It was less chewy and had more firmness with a subtle wheat flavor. I might go for these next time.
Back at basa we were joined by some beautiful people from Singapore. Boom and Nobo seemed really nervous.
They were friends of the rabbit.
And now friends of the beast.
