Day 801:
In anticipation of a long day of GCP, I made a grilled ham and cheese sandwich for breakfast.
Then as I was blending up some bell peppers, I got a great idea.
Grilled Cheddar Cheese Chashu Sandwich!!! Brilliant!
During break I went to check out the new tsukemen shop Komatetsu (つけめん 駒鉄).
It is produced by Tetsu.
And what do you know, it tastes just like it. Actually, it may be a little different, but all these tonkotsu-gyokai tsukemen taste the same to me. haha.
Hot rock!
After work, the friends were back sans rabbit.
And what a crazy night it turned out to be.
Definitely a night that I will never forget...
That sandwich is pure genius! Serve it with a side of pickled vegetables...the crunch and sourness would complement the gooey cheeses and fatty sweetness of the pork.
ReplyDeleteHmm, gonna have to check Komatetsu out, always nice to see some new ramen options around Uehara. Doesn't seem particularly well rated though looking at Supleks or Tabelog . . .
ReplyDeletekeizo, next time i come to basanova can i order the chashu grilled cheese?? :D
