I woke up and slurped a bowl at Ryo Tan Tei thinking I didn't have much time to venture out before work.
But after getting to work and realizing that I still had time, I decided to fulfill a favor to a friend and try Kookai (麺屋 空海 参宮橋店) in Sangubashi. Kookai has many shops throughout Tokyo, but (like a blind priest) this would be my first time trying them.
Kookai Tokusei Shio Soba (空海特製そば 塩).
I'll keep my comments short. This shio ramen was good, but it did not impress as I was expecting. I didn't like the noodles and the bowl seemed a bit overcrowded. Anyway, more on Kookai to come!
