The niboshi god...

Day 834:

I woke up craving something other than ramen. Seriously!

Yakiniku from local curry shop.

But the ramen gods weren't letting me slide. For today was the grand opening of a new Nagi shop, Niboshi "God" (ラーメン凪 煮干王), in Shibuya and I couldn't resist giving it a try--even if it meant being late for work.

Plus, I wanted to say wassup to Ikuta-san and make sure he remembered me. haha.

Tokusei Niboshi Ramen (特製煮干しラーメン).

Wow! There's only one way to describe this bowl. Imagine if Nagi Golden Gai and Nagi Butao married and engaged in ramen procreation...

The noodles are also incredibly amazing. Word is that they make them in Tachikawa and transport them to Shibuya on the Chuo Line daily. Haha I'd like to see that!

Seriously though, this has to be my favorite Nagi. But I'll need to go back again to be sure.

Anyway, this is one bowl I wouldn't mind worshiping.

Thank you ramen gods!
