Day 410:
Could there be a way to experience a bowl of ramen without using any of your physical senses? I think so. But it may take several centuries before you can fully engage the power of ラーメン空. Although, sometimes you may just be able to experience it by chance. For I was back at Gogyo and I may have been close.
The Earth was on Fire and the Wind was blowing Water in the form of steam. Kogashi Miso Ramen.
My co-pilot was hovering over a bowl of Shoyu-Tonkotsu.
A bowl of Ippudo with hirauchi noodles?
Anyhow, I was inspired to make a curry ramen at work. Not green curry, just curry. It was great.
"Every moment of searching is a moment of encounter."
what's the black oil in the Shoyu-Tonkotsu? more charred miso? black garlic oil? inquiring minds want to know! :)
ReplyDeletei believe it's black garlic oil--kuro mayu.
