Day 491:
Nakamuraya...the Honten. It was my day off so I decided to make the 40 min trek out to Ebina in Kanagawa prefecture. I've always wanted to come here, but I just never had the time. But after several visits to the recently opened Shimokitazawa branch, this was the time.
I should have come here long ago. The Toku Shio Ramen is fantastic.
As is the Toku Shoyu Ramen.
These are my kind of bowls. Forgive me for being so vague, but I'll be more descriptive soon. Coincidentally, rameniac also posted his review of this shop today. Check it out!
I have a feeling this won't be my last bowl of Nakamuraya. 中村さん、ごちそうさまでした!これからもよろしくお願い致します!
After burning some calories doing the ViNAWALK, we discovered a little ramen street. Sweet!
With every shop either closed or about to close, we decided on Suzuki Ramen Shop (鈴木味噌ラーメン店) and their mature miso ramen.
The original shop in Sagami-ono, located a few stations away, is a Hakata-style shop. That would explain the stink we noticed when we first walked in.
This bowl was just okay. I pondered not finishing it, but I always finish.
Just in case it got better at the end. And it did.
Let's head home now...
Hey Keizo, you guys alright?? that 8.8 earthquake was no joke. keep safe dude.
